What’s new for 2018
For this new year, the Ford Expedition gets upgraded with more power and features than ever before. Now built with an aluminium body the new Expedition is lighter than ever, saving you more at the pump with better fuel consumption. The instrument panel inside the Expedition comes completely redesigned, along with a handful of different options and packages for you to choose from. Also, the brand-new Expedition MAX (formerly EL) is now a model of its own, capable of separating itself from its original namesake with its even larger build and additional 479 litres worth of cargo room.
The 2018 Expedition not only underwent some serious aesthetic upgrades to its exterior, transformation took place under the hood, as well. Featuring the latest iteration of the 3.6-litre EcoBoost V6 engine, the Expedition Platinum churns out an overwhelming 400-hp and 480 lb-ft worth of torque! Each of the Expedition’s trim levels shares in the model’s renowned power and performance, however – drivers can still expect an impressive 375-hp and 470 lb-ft. worth of torque from XLT and Limited trims. With these specification, you’ll be getting the same performance as the F-150!
